The project “aemono” was started by a manufacturer that specializes in custom made furniture.  The objective was to seek the way to promote new products including custom made furniture in their own way.  I was introduced to the company “Nakadai”, recycling industrial waste materials, by the person in charge of this project, and this encounter made a big difference in the project.  After several meetings, I happened to learn that enormous amount of backup materials for particle board or melamine decorative board were disposed from office furniture makers.  Both particle board and melamine decorative board are the materials that I have been interested in, often used as the base of furniture.
These materials are commonly used for  the base of kitchen units or furniture, so  I have challenged to make usually concealed materials to appear as an attractive main character. 

This is the creation of  “flip over” in the value, making an office table by upcycling materials disposed from the office furniture maker.
