I had been thinking of taking a Windsor chair to the outdoors.  To put this thought into practice, this chair is made with a steel frame, and powder coating for exterior is applied.  Additionally, it is flexible to switch the seat material according to the scene, and possible to arrange freely in either indoor or outdoor environment.
The structure of this chair is designed with the image of a simple round stool, which has a minimum-sized backrest for leaning yourself on.  This could be rephrased as the image of a “moment” when a stool turning into a chair.  The seat is slightly angled to respond a backrest added to a stool, and this slight change in the entire form is shaping a “chair” eventually.
It all started from a Windsor chair, and this is why the design of this chair is presenting the process of how a chair, as a tool, is created.
Both standard chairs and high stools are available for this design.
